NADFAS provides children and young people with exciting opportunities to get involved in creative arts activities. Our work with young people builds a lasting enthusiasm for the arts and an awareness of arts heritage and its conservation.

In 2015 the pupils of Wadebridge Primary Academy designed and made, with our sponsorship, a 'Friendship Bench'.

At the beginning of  2017, BODFAS provided the prizes for a schools art competition organised by the Fowey Festival Committee. We also paid for extra art tuition for some of the local pupils. In the event 204 paintings were submitted, mostly from local schools, although there were individual entries from as far away as America.

BODFAS also provided two of the three judges.

The photograph shows our Chairman as he presented the prizes at a special ceremony held in the Fowey Parish Church on the 13th May.

We are currently working with Wadebridge School where the technology pupils are planning and preparing to construct, a living willow memorial to celebrate the School's 60th anniversary. This should be completed in late spring next year.
